Sports Massage & Soft Tissue Therapy
Sports massage and soft tissue therapy involve hands on techniques designed to assess, treat and manage tension, pain or dysfunction in the muscles, fascia, tendons and ligaments. Despite the name you don't need to be an athlete to benefit. It is suitable for anyone with tightness, aches, injuries or simply a body that works hard!
Using a combination of massage, stretching, trigger point work and movement-based techniques, treatment is tailored to your body and your goals. Whether training for a marathon, recovering from injury or spending a long day at a desk.

What to expect at your appointment?
Whether it's your first session or you are a regular client I want you to feel informed, comfortable and at ease. Every treatment is tailored to you and your goals.
Initial chat & assessment
We'll start with a short conversation about what brought you in, whether pain, tension, an injury or just general maintenance. I'll ask about your health, posture, movement and lifestyle so I can understand how best to help.
If needed I may carry out a quick postural or movement assessment to identify what areas need attention.
Treatment
Once we have agreed on a plan, we will begin treatment. This can include:
Deep tissue massage
Myofascial release
Trigger point work
Assisted stretching
Shockwave therapy
Clinical cupping
Kinesiology tape (Rocktape)
You'll be asked to undress only as far as needed for the area being treated and towels or drapes are always used for your comfort. Your feedback during the treatment is always welcome, pressure adjusted to suit you.
Aftercare & advice
At the end of your session, I will offer advice tailored to your needs. This might include stretching, strengthening, posture tips and what to expect post treatment.
We'll also talk through follow up options if needed, whether that is a treatment plan or just booking in when your body needs it.
